Up to two substitutes may be used by any one team, but no player may appear for more than one team.
Matches shall be of 28 boards, played in stanzas of 7. Consecutive stanzas should not be played in the same formation.
Scoring shall be by I.M.P.s; and the total margin for each match shall be convertible to V.P.s in accordance with the scale.
Each team shall play at least one match against each other team.
Subject to Rule 6 the team scoring the most V.P.s shall be adjuged the winners of the Struthers Cup. A tie shall be broken as prescribed in Rule 7.
A team that fails to score the most V.P.s and yet remains undefeated shall have the right to challenge the leaders for the title.
A play-off resulting from the invoking of Rules 5 or 6 shall be a match of 32c boards. Scoring shall be by total I.M.P.s. If there is a tie a further 4 boards shall be played. If there is a still a tie the match shall be scored by total aggregate points over all 36 boards.
Home captains are resoponsible for providing equipment.
Winning Captains are responsible for passing results to the organisor.
Away Captains are responsible for making contact and suggesting dates.
