Dingwall Bridge Club was established in the 1950's. The club membership comes from the area around Dingwall in Ross-shire and has members that live as far away as Bora in Sutherland and Shieldig on the West Coast. The club also runs the Strathpeffer congress in February.
The club looks to promote Duplicate Bridge and meets every Tuesday evening, except for the Summer holiday period, at the British Legion Club in Dingwall.
The Club runs two main competitions every season:
Beginners are welcome and lessons were started in 2008 to support people that wanted to learn or improve their bridge.
Membership costs 15 per year. This includes membership of the Scottish
Bridge Union that allows members to play in National events.
Table money is also payable on the night, 2 to 3.50 per player, to cover use
of the Hall and any entry fees for National Competitions.
