Welcome to the [UCB] clan website! [UCB] is a online gaming clan, and we are
currently a dedicated Half-Life: Counterstrike clan! [UCB] stands for University
of California at Berkeley, also known as Cal, UC Berkeley, & hippie school,
to name a few others. The clan began with a simple idea. We wanted
to form a group of players who
1) are past, present, or future UC Berkeley students
2) enjoy playing Counterstrike
3) appreciate teamwork & strategy, and
4) who don't cheat!
We have an even simpler mission: to play Counterstrike!
As UC Berkeley is a
learning institution, so is UCB the clan. We don't claim to be the best
players out there, but we certainly can hold our own. But whether you're
new to Counterstrike (n00b) or a seasoned veteran, UCB is here to offer you a
chance to play with some regular guys who love gaming and more importantly, love
winning! If you're a n00b, we'll train you to be a better player. And
while we can't make you react faster or move your mouse faster, we can certainly
teach you weapon and map strategies, and hopefully train you to use the most
important element of the game: intuition. For you seasoned veterans out
there, we're happy to swap team strategies, weapon techniques, camping spots,
and continue to learn ourselves, but most importantly provide you with a group
of players who actually play as a team.
