What does UCB stand for?
UC Berkeley, the school, which is
in Northern
California. School pride, baby!

Why the clan?
We just wanted to get a group of players together
who enjoy playing Counterstrike and enjoy playing as team. Have you
ever been in a game and all these people know each other and utilize
teamwork? That's what our goal is.
"We rush as a team, we camp as a team,
we kill for each other, we die for each other,
and when we play as a team, we always win."

What's the point of the clan?
Our purpose is to unify a group of players who
love the game and to put ourselves on the map. We promote teamwork,
strategy, and fun gaming!

What's expected of members?
Eventually, every member is expected to a part of
the HomeLAN family. We (the founders) are already part of the
HokmeLAN Alliance.
If you're already HA/HF, kudos to you! You'll be able to play an even bigger role in the clan! Also, all members are expected to
register with HandleBank, which tracks your stats on HomeLAN servers.
Stats are one way to show us that your a dedicated player.
Most
importantly, we play as a TEAM!

Where do you play?
We typically play on HomeLAN Federation &
Alliance servers. You might find us on Stargate servers as well.
At the moment, you'll most likely find us on HomeLAN 34/35. We enjoy
playing several different maps, especially dust,
aztec, italy, militia, dust2, and assault.

Who can join?
We have four criteria for
those interested in joining
[UCB]:
You are a past, present, or future UCB
student.
You love to play Counterstrike.
You're a team player (show-offs and hot doggers
need not apply)
You don't cheat!

What if I don't/didn't go to UC
Berkeley, can I still join?
All players will be considered for membership.
Priority is given to UCB students, but others will be considered.
We're always looking for good, dedicated players who have a love of
gaming. Our Dean of Admissions will consider each applicant.

How do I join?
Please
fill out an application. Then, you'll have to play
with us. We'll work with you to set-up a good time when one or two
of us can play with you. We'll typically play two or more sessions
with you. After all, everyone has bad game days, and we wouldn't want that
to stop you from showing us what you're made of. =) Once you've played
with us and provided us all the necessary information, you'll be
considered for membership. New members will be considered to be on
probation (AP). AP can last for any amount of time, dependant on how much
you play.

I got in! But I was given a
ranking, how do they work?
Simply put, the more you play, the faster you'll
move up the ranks. Also, we'll gather stats from you in
consideration for rank promotion. For more on the rankings, check out our
