these are gene's new ornaments.

each of the children in my family has a theme: jubilee is rocking horses, philip is santas, gaheris has his nutcrackers, and i am somewhat the exception being the recipient of mouses and angels and cats and any number of other odds and ends. i suppose i am somewhat more eclectic than my siblings.

when gene moved in one of the first things my mother asked was, "and what should his christmas theme be?" she decided on snowmen, since they aren't too hard to find and no one in the family had claimed them yet.
