announcing the birth of the alien

remember the pain in my stomach?

it has gotten worse rather than better. it's not kicking yet, but i can tell explosive birth is imminent. i was going to go into the office but the weekly world news wants me to stay put until the camera and video crews arrive to televise the event live over the internet.

so i'll be here, propped up on the bed, watching the telly and eating bonbons, waiting for the arrival of claire junior. next time i think i shall have a normal child; this fist through the abdomen stuff really puts a crimp in a girl's style.
