Group Members That Did Not Attend:

Sandra

This cemetery has graves dating back to the eighteenth century. It is now in horrible condition. It is said that some of the dead haunt it, angry that the cemetery is in such bad shape. There is supposedly a ghost of a woman that takes care of the babies, who have their own section in the back.

MAGGIE- Well its unknown about this location the first time we went but we heard things and seen things but I am not sure if the shadow on the wall or the lights were the other people with us with there flash lights or if it was the Old Woman who watches the graves of the Babies...The Second time we went we heard the cries of a baby and heard something like graves falling in.

SHANE-I really did not know what to expect on our first visit; I do not admit to either belief or disbelief of paranormal events. The only strange thing I experienced that night was while we were inside the old cremetorium. Jared and I were looking around, trying to get something on the recorder, when suddenly a beer can came flying out from the corner of the room behind us. We both paused while looking at eachother; I asked him if he had kicked a can, he said no. We tried to think of different ways that this could have happened, an animal or a gust of wind. The building had poor circulation and there was no sign of any animal activity. My ruling on this event is Unexplained.

ERIN-This being our first visit to Eastern cem. we really did not know what was going to happen. Upon arriveing at Eastern i was feeling normal up to the point we reached the back of the cem. and we got out of the cars in front of the abandoned run down crematory (Pictured above). Then i began to feel as though someone was watching me through the broken windows(although i think now it was just my imagination) We then split up into our groups and began investigating the rundown cemetery Maggie, Brandy, Keisha and myself went on the look for the baby part of the cem. on the search of the legend of the women who takes care of the babys graves. We began searching the toumbstones for dates of birth and death that could suggest we were in the correct area. We were finding all ranges of ages from baby to young youth. And we all were takeing many pictures of the surrounding graves. When myself and brandy saw a light reflecting on the graveyard wall that connected Easten And Cave Hill Cem.(Also said to be haunted) It was a white/blue light that would turn off and on (we later figured that the light was from the cam the guys had)But we (or at least i)know what i saw next. A little more closer then the light we saw there was a glow of what i belived to be a women. And she began to walk toward us needless to say we turned and began to walk away and snap pictures behind us as we walked away. (we did not catch anything from thouse pictures as far as i know)I did leave Eastern that night knowing that stuff happened that we could not debunk and we were leaning toward saying that Eastern Cem. is indeed haunted untill our next visit to Eastern raised some question and thoughts on the activity being related to Cave hill Cem. (see our 2nd visit for more information)
