recent additions to the extended family: Owen Keener, born December 9, 2000

May 15 - 23, was Trinity's second trip to Manaus, Brazil. As with the last trip, we delivered clothing to the families, and constructed a church for the local pastor.
The construction was labor intensive, and temperatures were as high as 110 with the heat index (and this is the cool season). Our team was strong, and we persevered for the greatest cause.

My sister and I have begun a large project. We are both prolific readers of fiction, she even more than I, and will be attempting to complete our own novel. I intend to make some chapters of the rough draft available online for whomever is interested. |
