This nice guy came to us from Ulysees, Ks. Carl and Lynda Thurow bred this guy and did a wonderful job with his early training. He is super gentle and an all around kind of horse. I'm a lady of about 5'3" and I ride him. He does wonderful. Although he does take a little more attention to ride than say a gelding but he does really well. He's still young. He will be four in February 2004. We may eventually put him into some more specified training but haven't decided at this point for sure. For now I"m enjoying him as a riding horse and letting him do what we bought him for, breeding. He settled all the mares but one this year on their first heat. The one that didn't settle her first time with him did the second time. His first babies are due in March, one in April and one in May. Let's hope they're all on time. I just can't wait to see them. He stands about 15.2 hands and is about 1300 pounds. I'll try to get some more pictures of him up but may not be able to do that until spring. We have thought about standing him to the public but have not decided on a stud fee. We are waiting to see what how his get turn out. If we do stand him the first year or so will be really reasonable with the price possibly raising as we see what he produces. But he has the lines, looks and disposition to do it all. He's a super super horse.
