General information about our horses
Our first foal crop will be in 2004. We are very excited about the new babies. We originally started with babies. We know that sometimes horses can come with "baggage". It's not always a problem but we thought if we started out with babies we could 1) sort of grow up with them and 2) avoid the baggage. We found out however that even a weanling can come with baggage. Fortunately we were able to work out the problem we faced early on. We have waited a long time for them to grow up and be able to be bred.
What should you expect health wise with our horses?

Our horses are all fully vaccinated including west nile virus. They are wormed every 3 months. Their hooves are trimmed whenever needed. And they are all healthy and happy. We will vaccinate and worm our foals according to our vets instruction.
What should you expect if you purchase a foal from us???

We firmly believe that a foals should have LOTS of hands on from the beginning. They will be halter trained as early as possible. We will spend a lot of time with haltering and leading. They will be used to having their feet messed with and held up. They will have their legs and bodys messed with a lot. It is our belief that if a horse is comfortable with having his/her feet and head messed with it'll be more trusting with it's human companion. In my experience those are the two places a horse has trouble trusting with. So, if they know from birth that it's ok for their human to do all those things necessary with them it'll make life later on a lot easier.
How do we price our horses?

We have an idea of what we will probably ask out of our foals. However, until they are here we really don't know what to expect. There may be one for some reason that we will price lower than we expect and possibly one that we price higher. Please contact us on a foal for pricing if interested.
Is there a contract?      Will we accept a deposit?

We will have a contract to sign at the time of purchase. We will accept a deposit on any of our foals. If a depoisit is placed we would consider that a purchase. Deposits are non refundable. The contract will basically be generic with the name of the buyer and seller, a description of the foal, dam, and sire.
Are the foals registered?  Who names the foal?

Yes, the papers for the foals will be here at the time of purchase. If the foal is purchased early then the buyer will have the option to name the foal. If not we will name them and send the papers off. We should have the papers back before the foals are ready to go to their new homes at weaning.
For any other information on our horses please email. You may also find what you're looking for by visiting their individual page. Each horses page will include a picture of the mare ( foal pictures will be with their dams after birth ), bloodlines, height, weight, age, information on training, temperment etc. Thank  you for looking.
