-According to www.chartattack.com, Sam Roberts is playing at "Live 8" on July 2nd, 2005 at "Park Place" in Barrie, Ontario. Many other bands/artists are also playing, including "Our Lady Peace", "Barenaked Ladies", Bryan Adams, "The Tragically Hip", and many more.

-According to www.chartattack.com, Sam Roberts will be playing at the "Hillside Festival" in Guelph Ontario. He will be closing up the festival on July 14th, 2005. Other performers include "The Arcade Fire", "Buck 65", "The Weakerthans", "Stars", "The Be Good Tanyas", Kelly Joe Phelps, Xavier Rudd, and more are to be announced on May 15th, 2005.

April 20th, 2005
-Sam Roberts has posted another message on www.samrobertsband.com, according to the message the band is coming closer to finishing work on the album. They are also going to be testing some of the songs out during the Australian tour dates. The message also states that there will be Summer dates back in Canada.

-According to http://www.optusnet.com.au, Sam Roberts has been recording his new album in an old church, which was rented out to them. Also as of April 5th, he was supposedly had about a week until they were done recording. The Australian tours dates apparently will be used as a testing ground for the songs so the band can decided what needs to be fixed up for the songs on the new record too.

-Sam Roberts has left a message on www.samrobertsband.com about the new record...  Apparently this album is being recorded live off the floor.
-Also in record news, In March I reported that Matt Mays was working on the next album as well. www.chartattack.com recently reported that Matt Mays is now back from working on Sam Roberts' next album (which is being recorded in Australia).

-I've updated the Vinyl portion of the discography section as well as I've updated the information on the "Brother Down" release in the same portion as well.
-I've moved the "Rolling Stone Original" release from the singles section to the E.P.s portion of the Discography section.

-According to the "Sam Roberts Band Forum" Sam Roberts' U.S. release of "We Were Born In A Flame" was reviewed in "People Magazine" recently.
-I added two more tabs to the website today as well. One is of Sam Roberts' cover of the "Hawkwind" song "Hurry On Sundown which Sam Roberts has covered live before. I also added a tab for Brother Down. If anyone has some tabs they'd like to submit to the website, than email me at [email protected].
-I believe today happens to be the six month anniversary of this incarnation of "No Sleep",
