Military Service:

On November 1, 1861, William ADAMS enlisted as a Private in Company H, 24th Kentucky Infantry under the command of Captain Jones at Camp Jackson in London, Laurel County, Kentucky.  He was mustered into service on December 31, 1861 at Camp Temple in Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky.  In February 1862 he was reported on the Muster Rolls as having died from the Measles on January 11, 1862 in Lexington, Kentucky.
Residences:

At the time of his enlistment, William ADAMS resided in London, Laurel County, Kentucky.
