Planting Spies Strategy in Civilization 3

You can plant spies after mastering the science of espionage.Build intelligence agency in a city that will modify city's icon, use city icon or E(espionage) link vailable at right bottom of screen along with D and H (diplomacy, histograph) to plant spies and other espionage missions.

Increaseing population of cities Startegy in Civilization 3

For more productivity you need growth of population. Build your cities where more food resources and food terrian squares comes in the radius of city. Build granary in new cities. As city population reach 6 build aqua duct that will let your city grow beyond 6 to 12. Build hospital as you learn the science of sanitation, hospitals makes cities grow beyond 12.

TIP Establishing embassy in Civilization 3

Simply double click on star in capital city icon to establish embassy in Civilization 3.

Exploration Strategy in Civilization 3

Use warriors and other units along with scouts to explore faster.

Wonder Strategy of Civilization III

Early in the Civilization III game pyrimid will place a granary in ll cties on same contenent. Sun Tsuz Art of war wonder will place barracks in all cities(a city with barracks produce vetran untis). Great light hose will give 1+ movemnt to all naval units and enable them to move into seas.

Use grid and zoon in and out in Civilization 3 (zoom in/out shortcut= Z ) (grid shortcut= G or use main menu in game)

Automating workers Strategy in Civilization III

Selct a worker in Civ 3 and click on "Automate" button(Keyboard shortcut= A) so that worker should not wait for your direction after completing a job. Click an automated worker to stop automation of that worker.

Location for new cities Strategy in Civilization 3

Always build cities in Civilization 3 near river as this will save you building aqua duct and cities with river will grow rapidly. Cities with food resorces (shark, whale, wheat etc) inside the ridius of city grow faster. Right click on a tile to see shields food and gold before building city.

Warning civs to remove their units from your territory Strategy in Civilization 3

Ever wondered how can you warn other civilizations as they warn you "your forces are inside our border please remove them". When ever any unit of your neghiburing civ comes inside your border contact that civilization, there would be an option of "remove your forces... ". Or simply right click on their unit and select "contact civ" option.
