Quicksilver Puppies

The pups were born on September 1, 2005: three girls and two boys. (See their pedigree here.) Jack is their sire, and their dam is another English import from Belgian stock, Tamedale Glory. Jen lived with me and my pack for nine months before she had to return home, and was with the pups for a full ten weeks teaching them all sorts of important things.

My goal for the breeding was to produce at least one pup that I could play flyball and agility with.

Both boy pups were placed as pets. Tupelo lives in Lakeland, Florida, and Elvis is in California.
Viva is living a life of spoiled luxury with two loving moms in central Texas. From the beginning, Mimi was my pick of the litter. Gracie came back to me after a short stint in a home that wasn't right for her. I have to thank my best friend Gosia for taking care of Gracie for several months before I was able to take her back. An excellent trainer, Gosia did a lot of important early training with Gracie and it shows! Gracie is now in training for flyball, and shows excellent promise for that sport.

Mimi is rapidly advancing in her agility training. I spent months on foundation games, and it is paying off because she is extremely focused, fast, accurate, and best of all, loves to play and learn new games. While she is mostly home-schooled, I regularly attend group classes with her and I benefit from working with many different trainers. I am able to apply many of the things I learned with Jack and Iz to Mimi's training, and am having great success free-shaping behaviors with the clicker.
