Fresh Start Spell Sunday, April 16th, 2006 Color of the day: Gold Incense of the day: Poplar Today is the Christian Easter. One modern Easter tradition is to wear something new. Wearing new clothing is an excellent way to express a commitment to a fresh start, a new direction, or simply a renewal of dedication. Do you have a new or special garment that you could consecrate today? If so, make sure that the garment is clean and in good repair. Have a blooming flower, potted or cut, nearby. Say: 'O flower of spring, your fresh bloom symbolizes my spirit today. I consecrate my garment to my new direction.' Lightly blow the flower’s fragrance over your garment, top to bottom, front to back. Afterward, you may wish to take a ritual bath before you don the garment. Go out someplace special.
