Capability
Building Program is the provision of appropriate
trainings to ensure readiness of the community to manage their own groups and their projects as well as to empower them to access at a faster rate the basic social services to meet their identified minimum basic needs.

Core
Shelter Assistance Program (CSAP) and Emergency Shelter Assistance
(ESA) |
|
CSAP
is a disaster response and mitigation strategy that involves
the organization of disaster victims and formation of work teams that will build core shelter units designed to withstand 180 kph wind
velocity, an earthquake of moderate intensity (4 to 6 in the Richter
Scale and other similar natural hazards). The work teams are composed of five families who pool their labor
and counterpart resources together in constructing the core shelters.
ESA is the provision of limited financial/material assistance to
help families construct or repair their houses that were damaged by
natural or man-made disasters.

Day
Care Services and Educational Assistance |
|
Supplemental parental care through
Day Care Services is provided for children 0-6 years old who may be potentially
neglected, neglected, abused, exploited or abandoned during part of the day when parents cannot attend to their needs.
Educational Assistance
provides for the financial aid (tuition fees and other school supplies) of students who cannot afford to continue
with their education expenses.

Disaster Mitigation and Preparedness
is the provision of interventions aimed at reducing the actual or probable effects of a
threatening hazard on man and his environment and limiting the impact of a disaster by structuring the response for a quick and
orderly reaction.

Supplemental
Feeding |
|
Supplemental Feeding
is the provision of supplemental food assistance to nutritionally depressed barangays and to
moderately and surely (non-medical) underweight children. Immediate and direct intervention to improve the nutritional
status and prevent any permanent physical and mental retardation.

Self
Employment Assistance-Kaunlaran (SEA-K) |
|
SEA-K is a livelihood assistance program that involves the
provision of an integrated package of social welfare services to needy family heads, disadvantaged women, out-of-school
youth, and persons with disabilities. The services include capital assistance; social preparation or capability building;
technical assistance and other support services.

Innovative
Projects |
|
Innovative Projects
are projects developed outside of the regular social welfare and development programs to aid the
community in fulfilling their basic needs. Most of these projects are
infrastructures like water systems, farm-to-market-roads, multi-purpose drying pavements.
Example of which is the mini-hydro-electric plant in
Kalinga.
