The
Wedlocks Stand (Away Supporters)
Away supporters are housed in the Wedlocks Stand. There are
a number of pillars that may obstruct your view. The stand is
covered and can accommodate 5,500 visiting supporters, however
the initial allocation is normally half of this. The stand has
excellent acoustics, so much infact that some supporters would
like to move back into the Wedlocks Stand!
How
to get to Ashton Gate by car?
Leave
the M5 at junction 18, travel along the Portway (A4) following
signs for Bristol airport/Taunton (A38). Go over the swing
bridge (Brunel Way), then branch left into Winterstoke Road
and the ground will be on your left. Mostly street parking.
By
train?
The
nearest train station is Bristol Temple Meads. Its at least
2 miles from the ground so its probably best to catch a cab.
On the way back, buses leave from behind the Atyeo Stand that
will take you to Temple Meads at the cost of £1.
