As the holidays come around, I'm all busy making Christmas cards for my EFL students.  Last year, I had made the same kind of mini-card with teddy bears on the front cut from thin sheets of cork.  This year, I'm going to do something new.  Christmas wreaths!  I'd seen this done on TV and decided to experiement.  I made three different kinds of wreaths with different kinds of materials.  This was a tedious task to do, because I had cards for all 32 of my students!
This was the product of going to a greeting card workshop.  It took about an hour or so to make and involved a lot of techniques like embossing, using water color markers to color things in and decorate the card.  I also used shrink film for the "Merry Christmas".  Shrink film is amazing!  It involves stamping something on a big sheet of plastic that when heated, it shrinks to the size of a 1x1.5 inch piece of plastic.  You can create all sorts of things with it, such as, key chains, earings, jewlrey, etc.
