GLOW, which stands for Gay, Lesbian, or Whatever, is a club at City High School in Iowa City that has dedicated itself to:
fighting homophobia in the City High community by increasing awareness of GLBT issues,
providing support for students who have experienced isolation, harassment, or discrimination due to actual or percieved gender or sexual identity,
and offering a forum for discussion available to students and faculty members of all orientations and backgrounds who wish to promote respect and equality. |
