For more information, visit the official Day of Silence website. SPRING PLANNING (April 14) Want to help GLOW organize t-shirts, Day of Silence activities, a speaker, and an end-of-year potluck? Come share your ideas on this planning day. DAY of SILENCE/BREAKING of SILENCE (April 21) This meeting will be an informal Breaking of the Silence party will be held, including a drum circle and student speakers. This celebration is sponsored by United Action for Youth. Location is to be determined. JUNIOR HIGH PLANNING (April 28) GLOW will discuss outreach ideas for students at the local junior highs. END-of-YEAR-PARTY PLANNING with COLORS (May 5) GLOW will meet again with West High's GSA to plan a joint celebration for the end of the school year. SPEAKER (May 12) An adult from the community will speak at the meeting. Speaker is to be determined. Ideas? E-mail them to [email protected]. OFFICER ELECTIONS/SNACK POTLUCK (May 19) Show up today to cast your vote or to nominate yourself to be an officer of GLOW for the '04-'05 school year.
