| Ok, now what to say about myself... Well, I guess I can start with why I decided to build this site. In a very short period of time as a member of the fire department I have lost a lot of firefighter friends. In particular, two that I went through Houston's Fire Academy with and one that I worked with at station 75. This was all within less than a one year period. This has in some ways caused me to see myself as more mortal than most firefighters choose to admit. It has also caused me to want for every person on the planet to know who these men were. Though that goal may indeed be out of my reach, I do still feel compelled to do as much as I can.
