Been missing in action these last two weeks due to computer break-down and lots of business in Menominee.  I wouldn't even be writing this now, since I wanted to write from the house, but my computer still isn't completely set up yet.  But I must bow to Karla's wishes (nagging).  Lol.

Let's see.  Computer power supply went down right after I'd paid for a Table Saw and all my bills.  I had no money to fix it for two weeks, then decided to get a case with the supply due to the minimal difference in cost.  So last Wednesday I got the new case and swapped everything.  Only to find that Windows was gone from the small harddrive.  So I had to reinstall everything on the large harddrive.  Most information is still there, but a lot of setting have had to be switched.  Taking forever.  I started Wednesday night, then spent Thursday through Monday morning at K's.  Then Monday night working on it some more.

Soon it'll be normal again.  I hope.

Let's see, news in the meantime.  Sunshine was hit by a car last Monday night.  Karla was calling him in and he was hit by a Taxi.  Karla saw it happen.  A terrible, terrible thing to see.  She called me and was very broken up.  I wanted to drive up to be with her, but there was no way that I could take my parents truck for that.  (A guess that I found out to be true last night when I told my parents about the cat.  Neither cared much, and one joked about it.  So Nice.  GRRRR).  She had a very hard night, and after work on Tuesday I went up to help her tell the kids and to bury Sunshine.  It was so sad.  I look forward to planting something pretty on the grave site though.

Went up Thursday after work to apply for work there.  Karla filled out 8 applications for me.  I wish I had a typewriter or better handwriting, but I am thankful that she fills them out.  A variety of jobs, and I hope I get something.  It really doesn't feel right that I am in Waukesha and she is in Menominee when something like what happened with Sunshine happens.  We'll see what happens though.  I have applied for 5 other jobs and not even gotten a call back.  Depressing.

Put in the Bathroom Fan/Light for the down bath Sat and Sun.  I don't think anyone realizes how difficult it is doing some of these projects.  The house is so old and so many things have been changed to it already, that every time I do something, I have to undo or change everything everyone else has done before.  I spent hours hanging through the ceiling between two joists, cutting and then fitting, and wiring the fan.  Joists aren't quite as wide as my shoulders, tight fit.  Pain in the ass.  No fun at all.

I'm not bitter though.  lol
