Arrived at the house and no one was there. I was tempted to just go to bed, but decided to wait for the 'rents to arrive. Had to give Art his birthday gift. Got him a couple of war DVD's and he looked happy to have them, but especially happy about the card. It was signed by Me, Karla and her kids. Nathan got him his own card that he will bring on Thursday night. Kind of a kick in my mom's ass though--she didn't get something that personal, just e-cards. But maybe she'll start treating people a little better now. Who knows.
Went to bed after that. Well, waited a bit to see if Karla came on line to see if she wanted to talk, but she didn't show until after I was asleep. Late night at work.
Tuesday--worked. Found out that our area snitch was going to be acting Supervisor over every one in the departments objections. That'll be interesting to see. To see how it works out, I mean.
Didn't do much special at work. Should have checked the job sites for Menominee, but didn't. I have to work up to full-speed I guess.
Worked on the Kids' vacation plan for the weekend. We were going to go to the Hilton here, it has a water park, but its expensive. We looked into going to the Dells, and the rooms would have been nicer, and the park bigger, and there is more to do, for less, but the drive was a bit much, I think.
So ended up planning for Green Bay. Of course, I then ran into a snag with Julie and Nathan. A short party Saturday night for my evil stepfathers other stepson. Graduation. I agree that Nathan should go to the party, but I'd rather he spend the whole weekend with me. I pick him up Thursday, and I think I'll just see what happens. If on Saturday he wants to go to the party still then I will take him to meet Julie, and if he doesn't, as I suspect, then he can stay with me.
We'll see when we see. Another thing to try to accomplish, is getting Megan, Shaun and Karla to one of Nathan's games. I am going Thursday, but soon they should too. We are all family, one way or another.
