Forgot that I pay for this site through the checking account that I just closed. Sooooo . . . well, at least for now it will just be the journal that appears here. Pics will come back one day--when I open a new account and everything. Going to be a matter of finishing things up with the house, moving up there, finding a job and getting settled in, and then back to the normal site again. I'll save up pics between now and then though, of course.
Really, that's the news of the day. Not much else happened. Getting a few things organized at the Waukesha house so that I can try to move them during Spring Break in two weeks. Just a couple pieces of furniture and some boxes. Be nice to get them up there when I have the chance. Also, it'll give me a place to sit while I rest from being smacked in the head by the bottoms of landings in the house.
So much to do there that it really takes up a lot of my thoughts. The biggest component of it all is time. I am concerned with all the mechanical things and the railings and so forth, that must be completed before the occupancy permit is issued. I also want to be able to get Karla started on the wallpaper stripping and painting. The deadline is the end of March as far as I am concerned. One month and a few days to do it all. I have spring break in the middle of it, and two vacation days that I can use if I need to. I think we'll be fine. Only real problem will be being productive with the kids around too. Have to find things for them to do around the place to help. Or at least games to play. Bringing a VCR there, the couch, and hopefully Karla's TV will help a bit.
Damn my eye hurts. Owwww.
I have to go fix this, I'll write tomorrow . . .
