| Another week begun, another sucky day at work. Today I had a woman complain that I had directed her to the wrong place. That she hadn't wanted to get treated right away, but would rather have waited a month. That she didn't want to do things the way the school did them, but rather her own way. Sounds like something that would just be discarded, right? NO, the area supervisor came and brought it to me. Sure would help if she had some idea of what we do there. No wonder the others in the area keep putting my name forward as a replacement. I, at the very least, know the job. Aside from that, the biggest problem of the day was boredom. Work was busy for an hour in the morning, and an hour in the afternoon. That was it. I spent the rest of the day scouring the various sports news sites on the internet to read about my various teams. Some are doing well--Marquette, UW, and UWM. The Bucks are above .500, but not where they should be, or where I'd hoped they'd be right now. The Brewers are in Spring Training, and I love this time of year. But then again, I am that whole senseless Brewers/Baseball fan. The football draft is nearing as well, so it's time for all the teams to get their rosters in order. Interesting stuff. Who will stay a Packer? Who will go? Who will just restructure their contract? At the house we had a turkey, mashed potatoes and carrots. Kind of like Thanksgiving dinner. Oh yeah, after a couple of months of not thinking I'd ever move out of here, now my mom is wondering how soon I'll be getting my stuff out. A good thing really, because I'd like to start moving slowly at some point soon. It'll make it a lot easier if I just take a truckload a week or something. Have to be sure of the weather and stuff, but sometime soon I will be able to start moving boxes and things to the North. Funny the TV they have on at 5 and 6 in the morning. I have been catching up on Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes I didn't see--which is all of them. A good show, but the lesbians are both really wishy-washy--they remind me of the whole "One Time, In Band Camp", and of course Willow was that girl in American Pie, so it makes sense. Guess it's time to finish getting ready for another day of fun. Bye for now . . . C. Oh yeah, put up a few before pics of the house---Check them out here. |
