next day's entry
previous day's entry October 08, 2003
Wednesday was a long day . . . .  Got to work early again, and then having to stay late is no fun.  Did get paid which is always nice even though my paychecks keep getting smaller lately.  After work I went shopping, got some clothes I needed, Spark Plugs for the Bug, and a treat for K and I.

Was strange, the guy at Autozone asked if I wanted all 4 plugs. I've never heard of anyone replacing only a couple, but I guess he had.  Strange.   Like I said.

Watched Smallville at night but that was pretty much my whole day.  Tomorrow I have to put in the plugs and see if the Bug runs better on 4 cylinders than it had on 3.  Did I talk about that before?  After starting it the last month or so and driving it around the neighborhood a couple times, thinking it ran great, I noticed one of the plug wires wasn't connected to anything.  Kind of made me wonder what would happen if they were all connected.  Might run even better!!

Still need to register it then, and get a seat belt or two, and a stereo, then I could start driving it around, if I want to.  Just have to remember to bring a few tools back from Menominee this week so I can fix a few body mods made years ago.  A funny thing, Julie gave me a box of parts from the car the other week, from when Husband #2 tried to put it together.  It included a number of bolts that hold the body to the chassis that he never installed.  Nice and safe that guy.  A lot of miscellaneous wire too, which probably explains why so many electrical things don't quite work.

Anyone bored yet?

I'm thinking the next few days in here that I'll try reviving a story I wrote in the past.  Something interesting.  Maybe even a little erotic?  Hmm, going to have to see if that's ok or not.

In the meantime, I'm going to watch Any Given Sunday again.  I highly recommend this movie for a fairly true t life look at pro football, and just sheer entertainment.  It got some bad reviews, and at least one person is horribly miscast, but I still love it.  See the directors cut though, much longer, but worth it.
