Sales on ebay are up, that's a nice thing to be able to say. Hoping a few more of the books get bids as well, but enough have already to pay this months fees and enable me to list a bunch more. I could use a free listing day, or a penny gallery days on the weekend sometime. But I think what I will do is spend a few hours uploading a ton of items into Turbo Lister, and then just waiting for the next deal day to come along. That's certainly the best way to maximize profit, and reduce overhead costs.
In other news, the package I was supposed to recieve a week ago is still in Texas, after innumerable problems. Fed Ex was supposed to pick it up Monday, but nothing happened. Then today a label was brought by UPS. How does that help? You still need a Fed Ex carrier. So Karla takes the package with the Fed Ex label now on it, to the shipping center, and they can't send it out until Monday, because Fed Ex is over an hour away in Iron Mountain. Did I tell all this to the seller a month ago? I think I did!
Still waiting on the job yesterday to call me back. Not losing hope though. Also got leads on a couple of other things that I have to check into this weekend. Including one at Book World. That would be a cool job, especially if it paid enough at the start to lead into something. Managing my own retail store could be an end result and work out for me as far as making me a happy happy camper. Nathan too for that matter. One of his favorite stores. The other two were office type things that would be just as good, though one I think I am not qualified for. I called, but the woman wasn't in, and will return my call Monday. Crossing fingers on all of them.
