2004 DAY FOUR
Day four was a warm day and we decided to go for and all day canoe trip to High Falls and the natural rock water slide. This trip proved to be a test of Cole and my paddling strength, but Bill and Nick could out paddle the two of us all day even with a bigger canoe and more weight than us. The rock water slide was another highlight of the trip followed by a scare with a rather large water snake. A little fishing was done on the way back to add a break to the long paddle. After a long day of paddling (5+ hours) we settled down for dinner and some relaxation time. Some of the dinner was a little over cooked but that's part of camping sometimes. Shortly before dusk, we all piled into the van and went out in search for Bears and Moose. We did manage to see a couple of Bears and Moose so we decided to call it a night. Rain was in the forcast for Friday morning, so we spent our last night sleeping in the the car and the van the Veen hof's had rented. Although it didn't rain over night, this did gave us the chance to get up early in hopes in getting an early start on the moring and the drive back to London.
