(1) Really? Let's compare this to his earlier remarks, especially the one about the time of the Netjers walking the earth being over. How would you have read that statement?
(2) Why are humans ever cruel to animals? Why do adults ever mistreat children? The hidden assumption in such a rhetorical question is that the one spoken of must behave rationally, an assumption at odds at what we can see of humanity, in whom Ramessu insists that the netjeru dwell. Why assume that all of the netjeru must be incapable of such venomous irrationality?
(3) Unless we have changed in such a way that the part of us which contained the netjeru no longer exist? Not that I would care to voice support for this theological notion, but the conclusion here is not warranted by the assumption.
(4) OK, let me skip ahead, here. As the reader will see, soon enough, while Ramessu has made an effort to promote the illusion that he is posting from Egypt, or at least comes from there, he is, in fact, writing from Texas. His 'charmingly fractured English' is mysteriously mended over on the Everquest boards, elsewhere. If you were thinking "why be hard on the man, he's struggling with English" - don't be fooled. The man is trolling.
That much having been said, what, exactly, is the difference between saying that "the netjeru could better achieve that goal than we could" (Ankhesenamun's words) and that "they would likely do a better job of it" (as Ramessu states, after denying that Banu has correctly expressed his meaning)? None. Ramessu is affecting profundity by deliberately mystifying the reader, who may lack the self-confidence to note that in context, the two phrases mean exactly the same thing.
(5) I'm excited to see how rapidly we're evolving as a species, because just a short time before, Ramessu had announced that we were microscopic compared to the netjeru; now, we're beyond needing their help. It's as if I had come downstairs one day, and found that my pet goldfish were scrubbing their own tank and feeding themselves.
(6) Hmmm. Interesting. Because in just his previous post, Ramessu had been asking why the netjeru would concern themselves with anybody of this world. Now, we're told that they will concern themselves, but only when we're really stumped. This might seem inconsistent, but perhaps the blindingly rapid evolution of our species mentioned earlier explains this.
