Welcome to my World! Christine's Mile-A-Minute.
If you didn't know, you've clicked into the land of free-lance crochet designing!
This is the world in which I live and love, and welcome you to it!
I design and crochet professionally for a living, most of my patterns are published by companies such as Annie's Attic, Needlecraft Shop, and House of White Birches in various collector's clubs, magazines, and hardcover books.
In 2004, I have two new leaflets available through Annie's Attic! I have more leaflets in the works, so check back often! Feel free to email me or sign my guestbook to join my "new products" email list, that way you'll be the first to know when new designs and leaflets are released! The current books available are Filet Crochet Afghans in a Day, and Crochet on the Double in the Round.
This particular book features the very popular Crochet on the Double Technique, except instead of just crocheting back and forth, you crochet around in a circular pattern! These are great afghans, and would make a new and exciting project for anyone who wants to learn a new technique!
Visit Annies Attic by clicking below if you're interested in getting a copy of these great new books. Annies has loads of great books, hooks and all kinds of wonderful designs!

About E Bay
I've been auctioning afghans, patterns and kits for years now on eBay. Most of the afghans I sell on eBay are the original afghans I made for the publishers to use in the pictures, so not only are you getting a professionally crocheted afghan, you're also getting a great conversation and collectible piece! So click here to see what I might have on EBay Today!

Crochet is not only an art, but a gift. If you crochet, pass that gift on by teaching someone to crochet.

About Designing
My decision to go into the art of designing was a simple one, designing what, was the hard part. With a love for both cross stitch and crochet, I figured the only thing I could do was try them both and see what happens. So first I tried my hand at designing cross stitch. I designed a few pieces while getting a feel for my new computer designing software, and the first one I sent in for publication consideration sold! ("Gods Wildflowers" Just Cross Stitch, March 1998 issue.) Thrilled with my success, I realized I could do anything I put my mind to.
In mid 1998, I put down my needle, picked up a crochet hook, and havent looked back. Ive been designing crocheted afghans for the past six years and I absolutely love it! I learned to crochet when I was nine and never imagined I had learned anything more than a hobby. The challenge comes when Im teaching. Being left handed in a right handed world can add quite a bit of flavor and humor to a crochet class! Ive since learned to crochet right handed, but I generally only use that hand to teach a right handed person to crochet, or to demonstrate a stitch someones having trouble with. I find designing wonderfully relaxing and challenging at the same time, and my biggest reward is when someone says, "I absolutely love that afghan!"
Most of my designs are published through DRG. a combined publishing company for Annies Attic, House of White Birches, and the Needlecraft Shop. Theyre one of the top publishing companies in the United States and have featured my designs in most of their publications. You can find my crocheted afghan designs in the Afghan Collectors Series, the Crochet Collectors Series, Crochet Home and Holiday, Hooked on Crochet, Crochet!, magazines, 2001 Afghan Calendar, and hardcover books such as Afghan Splendor, Crochet For a Quiet Evening, Big Book of Scrap Crochet Afghans, and Crochet on the Double Made Easy.

About Me
To give you a little personal information about me... I live in Ohio, and when I take a break from crocheting I like to fish, camp, and I love the woods! My favorite time of the year is around the end of April first of May, when the wild mushrooms can be found. I think Id have to say my favorite place in Ohio is Hocking Hills, its absolutely gorgeous! Anyone who loves the outdoors should visit this magical place.
The afghans you will find here are the designs that have not been sold for publication, or designs that have been published but I retain the copyright. Were constantly adding new afghan designs, full size as well as baby afghan and hat sets. If you have a special request email me and well take care of it for you! Bookmark this site and come back often to see all my latest designs! Thanks for visiting!
