The boys had their 9 month check up today and it went pretty well. We were sent home with a nebulizer for Jake because he has a little weezing which we aren't sure if it is due to a cold or some allergy. She said to use when we feel appropriate. Of course we still need to get more calories into them because they are below average for their age especially Mitchell. Below are their weights and heights as of today:
Aaron 18lbs 7.5oz (20th percentile) 28" tall (45th percentile)
Mitchell 14lbs 7.5oz (less than 3rd percentile) 27" tall (10th percentile)
Jake 16lbs 11oz (5th percentile) 28 1/4" tall (45th percentile)
(50% is average for a 9 month old)

Mitchell is bound and determined to start walking. Today he went from the clothes basket to one of their walkers. It is so fun to watch because he concentrates so hard and usually gets or does what he is trying to do.
Jake is starting to get his two upper front teeth in now. Luckily he never really has any symptoms or side effects. He may be a little more clingy but his body handles teething pretty well.
Mitchell can now go from crawling to sitting on his bottom.
Mitchell is getting his two upper front teeth now too. Unfortunately his body doesn't handle teething as well as Jake's does. Just like when Mitchell got his first two teeth on bottom he again has side effects. When he got up this morning he was doing just fine. Then about late morning he had a different looking diaper change and Matt thought it was like when he was teething before. Then Mitchell took one of his "breaks" where he just lies on his belly and puts his thumb in his mouth for 2-3 minutes and then gets up crawling and playing again. Well he ended up lying there with his eyes wide open just sucking his thumb for quite a while until we fed him before his nap. He did have a temp of about 99.7 so that is when we figured it must be teeth coming in. He also gets pretty clingy and tires very quickly so we are pretty sure the top two are coming in.
Mitchell is really on the move. He is now walking behind the toy walker on the basement carpet. He giggles as he moves forward.
We went to the Timm's for Easter. We even went to church. This was the first time since baptism last August. All three did pretty well.
Jake has learned to pull himself up on things like the couch and his crib rails
Jake is also getting his 5th tooth!
Aaron finally has a tooth! One on the bottom finally broke through and the other one isn't far behind.
Well another month has passed and all three boys are learning so much. Mitchell now holds his bottle for a short period of time. Aaron and Jake are eating finger foods and doing very well with them. Their favorite are fruit puffs. They all have started eating yogurt with their fruit and are all loving it. All three love to stand up to the couch or anything similar and walk along it. Mitchell and Aaron are getting close to letting go of the couch and taking a couple steps. They both love to walk behind their walker.
