You tried it once and paid the price
You have a secret but don't tell anyone
The fear of being rediculed is much too great
But there has to be someone that you can trust
So you take a pen and paper and do magic with your hands
All the while your blood starts rushing
You can't take it anymore
Like a thunderbolt you're just waiting to explode
Now there is nothing that can stop you
Emotions start running wild and jumping from place to place
With no where to go, you turn to the one
The one you hope will listen and pray won't judge you
It's late at night but you hope they'll listen to you
The phone is your 24 hour pharmacy
You say what is on your mind, and hope they understand
Thats it. It's over. It's time to get your results
You wait for the laughter but instead you get a prescription
It's just what the doctor ordered... a full dose of loyalty
I'm sure you never thought you'd be a pharmacist let alone my drug
Now I know that your the one that I can trully trust.
And became friends right away
When we were together time seemed to flow,
As smooth as the waves in the bay.
I felt I could trust you
You knew my every thought
Except that I loved you!
It hurt so much, how could of I forgot?
People talked about us
They said "love must be blind"
But I didn't care because
You were the one on my mind.
How could I be so blind?
To not realise, who it was that you trully loved
I knew all along, you dropped hints all the time.
I thought I knew you so well,...then time stopped.
You had to go away,
The waves were crashing hard on one another
We wished time would stay still
We held on to each other
Who knew our hearts would heal
Somehow we knew...that no one would love us,
As we loved one another.
It takes time to trust.
In friendship you get hurt,
As well as in Love.
Friendship is hard to find,
Yet true love is even harder to find.
You share secrets with a friend,
As well as with a lover.
There is no difference in love and friendship.
So why is is so hard to love a crazy friend?
No one knows because no one tries...
We were the best of friends, yet I wanted more.
I wished to be your love, and somehow to be your wife.
My patience was no more, I wanted you to know...
You were the one I loved with all my heart.
I defended your reputation, and kept you safe from harm.
My love towards you was magical like a peice of art.
Little did you know...my heart was being torn.
By the thorn on the rose that you gave to me.
When all I wanted was a sweet and magical kiss.
It was time to face the fact, that you to me could be,
More than just a friend, you filled my day with bliss.
Somehow everyone knew, how I felt for you...
I denied it all to them, and even to my self.
I was afraid the sun would leave once you knew.
So what I had to do was put my heart on a shelf.
For I knew as long as you were around,
The sun would shine upon the white rose.
I managed to have patience, and waited for the kiss
You finnaly figured out that the one you loved...
Was right under your nose.
By now it was obviouse, it was impossible to miss.
Now were at the top, and the sun is shinning bright.
The roses have bloomed, and the waves have ceased.
Your standing here with me, and we are dressed in white.
