| Is racing realy a sport? You had better beleave that it is. Some say all the drivers do is drive in circles, I hate to be mean, but they are WRONG! Those men(and woman) sit in cars that can reach 130 or 140 degrees. They drive at 180MPH in packs of cars twenty to thirty big. One slight slip and they can damage over $100,000 of equipment. And unlike other sports that pay the competitors no matter what they do; if A driver screws up and wrecks he and the team are out of money, and you can bet a team owner wont allow that for long at all. |
