REMEMBERED
This page is dedicated to drivers who have lost their lives in the sport. Some Died in accidents while others dies off the track. I sincerely hope that I never have to add another name to this page, but we all go when it is our time.
ADAM PETTY: Adam died when his car crashed into the wall at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The crash was blamed on a hung throttle. Adam was the first FOURTH generation nascar driver.
KENNY IRWIN JR.: Kenny was the second driver in one season to pass on at a crash at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. His Wreck was also blamed on a hung throttle. This prompted NASCAR to mandate restrictop plates at the track.

ALAN KULWICKI: Alan was an inspiration to all young NASCAR drivers. He always ran his own cars, and drove them to the 1992 WInston Cup Championship. Sadly, he perished as defending champion in 1993 when his plane crashed on its way to Bristol Motor Speedway. He will always be remember for his Polish Victory Lap, a lap backwards around the track.
DAVEY ALLISON: Davey was the son of NASCAR great BObby Alison. Davey was one of the best young drivers NASCAR had ever seen. Tragicly, Davey's life was taken in a helicoptar crash at Talledega Superspeed way. Davey attempted to land the chopper, and lost control of it. He was taken to a hospital, and died early the next morning. Davey's full potential was never reached.
TONY ROPER: Tony was a young man with a very bright racing future ahead of him. Tony died in a Craftsman Truck series accident. He set a sad record of being the first driver in the series to die in an accident.
NEIL BONNET: Neil had a great NASCAR carear. An injury had stopped Neil from driving, but in 1993 he ran a little, preparing for his 1994 comeback. Sadly Neil died in a practice crash at daytona Superspeedway while practicing for the Daytona 500.
