Founded in 1999, Muhlenberg College EMS provides emergency medical services to the Muhlenberg College community in Allentown, PA. Working closely with the Department of Campus Safety, Student Health Services, and the City of Allentown - EMS, MCEMS answers approximately 300 calls for help each academic year. MCEMS operates as a quick response service, responding to calls in a customized 2002 Chevy Blazer. In addition, MCEMS operates a bike team and golf cart for use at large stand-bys such as Homecoming and Commencement weekends. MCEMS provides education to the College community via CPR/AED classes.
MCEMS is a proud member of the National Collegiate EMS Foundation and strives to remain the leader of campus-based EMS in the Lehigh Valley.
