The polsih submarine “Orzel” is interned by estnic governement in Tallin. Crew of “Orzel”is

reported to be in bad health conditions.

                              

02:00 U46 reports an submarine without lights heading north in the small Belt. Navy-attache

will ask the danish and swedish governement if they have boats in this area. If they go on to

operate with lights turned off they will be treated as enemy units.

 

O.d.M. orders to transfer the 3.R-Flottille and 3 boats of 1.M.S.Flottille to Gruppe West.

07:00 U31 and U26 report enemy convoy in Quadrat 1253 (south of Ireland) heading 240°

with 10sm.

 

R.d.L. and Od.L. order to build the Sonderstaffel (Tr.O.) with planes in germany and those

that return from the eastfront. Location Travemünde.

 

U45, U46 arrive in Kiel.

U37 arrives in Wilhelmshaven

U36 sinks the steamer “Truro” (974t) by torpedo and gunfire off Fraserburgh.
