After Paint
You can see the reflection of the lights in the freshly painted cab.  Very cool, very nice and very smooth.
These pictures help to show the final color.  I was aiming for the real cool old pickup green that I seem to recognize from old pictures and period movies.  After painting, we normally split for a few hours to let the stuff kinda harden up.  There was a ton of hardener in the paint but still it was a couple of days before we'd actually touch the pieces.  This gave us Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday to leave things drying in the shop.
This is a nice shot of the cab and the corner that we had to cut out and graft in a new section.

If you follow the reflection of the sawhorse in the corner of the cab, you'll see no lines, deflection or indication that this corner was cut out and a new piece welded in.  Killer job.
Once painted, all of the pieces we put in another unused section of the shop.  Here, free of traffic, air flow, birds, dogs, curious onlookers and nosey neighbors, the parts could dry to a hard, solid finish.  After a few weeks in here, the pieces were buffed-out by a friend - Calvin.  He did a real nice job of smoothing everything out and making it real glassy.

Shown are the rear fenders, the bull nose and the driver-side front fender.
