Savina : Unleash Your Senses

Gozo Citadel - 6th May 2006

The Savina Creations range of products was launched by Magro Brothers at a high-profile event that took place on Saturday  evening 6th May 2006 at St. Michael’s bastion, at the Cittadella in Victoria during which the Chorus Urbanus performed eloquent 4-part folk-song arrangements as well as classical choral music by Charles Camillleri, Giuseppe Caruana and John Galea.    More -->


Concert - John Paul II Memorial Festival

Gharb Collegiate Basilica - 18th May 2006

The Chorus Urbanus has been invited to participate during a choral concert at the Gharb Collegiate Basilica to honour Pope John Paul II. The Memorial Festival has been organised in memory of the Great Pope by the Committee for the John Paul II Memorial Monument . The choir is expected to perform sacred music especially that centering on a Marian Theme. The concert's theme is "Totus Tuus" and the concert is free of charge.


Concert - Unum Deum Festival

St. John Co-Cathedral (Valletta) - 7th June 2006

The Chorus Urbanus has been invited to perform choral works by its director, John Galea during the day dedicated to Gozo during the Unum Deum Festival that will take place at St. John's Co-Cathedral. The Chorus Urbanus will be singing various polyphonic motets and amongst works performed esclusively by Chorus Urbanus, the evening will include 'Domine Non Sum Dignus' composed by John Galea and chosen as a test-piece for one of the past editions of the Malta International Choir Festival. The Festival is under the artistic direction of Prof. Charles Camilleri.
