Chorlton Unitarian Church is a spiritual community who welcome all to join with us on a journey of faith and self discovery. In common with many other Unitarian Churches, our faith is formed using the insights and wisdom of many world faiths, not just Christianity. We encourage every person to reach a level of belief with which they feel comfortable. We do not ask that any person subscribe to a particular set of beliefs. We respect differing views and beliefs and try our best to learn from each other. Our religious authority lies not with creeds and dogma but with the individual conscience, nurtured and guided by the spirit.
We work for peace, liberty and justice and extend a welcome to all regardless of class, race, creed, sexuality, gender or any other irrelevant distinction.
We are affiliated to the General Assembly of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches and to the Manchester District Association of Unitarian and Free Christian Churches.
Sunday 11:15am - We meet for worship every Sunday morning. Our service lasts for about an hour and coffee is served after the service.
Service of Mediatation and Song - This takes place on the first Friday of each month at 7:30pm. Again this service lasts for about an hour and refreshments are served after the service.

We are pleased to offer our building for weddings, relationship blessings, baptisms, child namings, funerals etc.
When planning such services, we will not impose any set liturgy and will make certain that you are happy with the form that the service will take.

Our building is used by a number of groups but we are also able to provide the building for hire on an occasional basis. For further information please contact our Lettings Sectretary.
