The reward for reaching the rim is a spectacular view of the ancient crater, the crater lake and the new volcanoe called Gunung Batu (literally 'New Volcano'). |

The hot springs next to the crater lake immediately vaulted to number one on the 'Best Hot Springs Ever' list. In addition to the absence of sulfurous odour these hot springs included an incredible hot waterfall! |
