John Collins (right) was our gracious host while in Jakarta. We stayed in the Intermap residence complete with a cook/maid, gardener, and Mr. Yanto (left) the driver. Even with Mr. Yanto's skill it takes about an hour to get anywhere in Jakarta. |

It's a small world. As proof I offer the coincidence of my cousin Graeme also staying at the Marriott in Jakarta while we were in town. He was kind enough to take Lo and I out for a tasty sushi dinner. Graeme will be seeing more of us when we visit him in Singapore very soon. |

Public transport is an often perilous ordeal in Indo. But it's cheap and if you don't mind riding with goats, chickens, and produce then it is the way to go. The cute little old ladies are an added bonus. |

We settled in on the lovely little island of Gili Trawangan. The plan: get our open water diving certification and then find Nemo. |
