Upon meeting, the recognition was clear...
...we have met before...
Chapter 1: Memory Rebourne In You

Meer's Request...

Meer:
I want to hear the words you said
Let's go back all those years
When with a feathered robe you swore
To break through violent fears
And yet the night we shared, at last
With soul bound to that tree
You left with memories that hid a whole eternity

And while you say you've rested now
Within an ageless chair... (you also broke the holy war)
I still recall the distance once tormenting its cold lair
And who are you, my endless love
A feathered robe once known
And why is it I can't recall even when seen, and shown?
What secrets lie behind these words, why do I even write?
And why do you, awake at night, feel there is more in sight?

And who has lost their way back then, was it as fate foretold
A dark awakening to bond
The truth it tore and sold?

Cale:
The words are nearly lost, my dear, the memory is pale
The robe is old and worn, but never is the tale
The night was a wonder and the ground gave our place
And now that I've arisen from the sleep I can retrace...

"These years have made me different"
But 'tis not the time at all
Was not the repetition of the wonder... nor the fall

There isn't war not worth breaking, for the darkness overbears
To shine a light so bright that pierces even air
A memory can only bring what hopes and fears I've all but lost
And these words, my dearest, will be reborn at cost:

To listen to them undefied, and always ever true
To understand the most important peice that is to you...

"I've thrown it all away for you, my love, my endless light"
But now this time I realize what to throw... what is right

I've lost the old shattered, helpless, pained and hollow shell
I dove so deep there was no true bottom to the well
I realize to use this and release all suffering
To drop into the well all that I never really knew to be

So now...
I return, by light and with light, and here I shall stand
I've unearthed all that is truth and brought it by my hand
And shall remain with you, my love, as long as you can stand
For standing is the upright, the straight and true
As sure as I am standing here...
As sure as I love you.
