Chilli was born Rozonda Thomas on the 27th of February in 1971. She grew up without a father in her life. While in grade school, she was a victim of bullying and teasing because her racial back ground was unclear to her. She was quite a fiery kid even though she was small. In fact, she once yanked of a wig from her teachers head!

As a young girl, Rozanda had two dreams- To become a succesful singer and to meet her father. Finally, both of those dreams came true. She became a successful singer in 1991 and she met her father, Abdul Ali, in 1995 when she was 25 yrs old.

In 1991, she joined forces with Lisa Lopes (Left Eye) and Tionne Watkins (T-boz) to form TLC. Currently, the best selling female group in the world.

She is currently dating writer/producer, Dallas Austin and they have a two year old son Tron to show for the ten years they have spent together. Recently Chilli was seen with a ring her finger and when she was asked about it she just smiled and didn't say anything...

Chilli is currently working on a solo project which is due to hit stores early in 2001.
