Tron- Her Son.
That's Tron sitting on Chilli's lap. Tron was born on the 2nd of June in 1998 which would make him a little over two years old now. Dallas Austin, Chilli's boyfriend of ten years and a very talented producer who has worked with artists such as Monica, Boyz II Men, Deborah Cox, Michael Jackson and TLC among others is his father.
In 1999, when TLC was on fanatic, Chilli told Andy (...the lucky fan) that her "son just comes first," and then she "works everything else around him." In an interview done with Mademoiselle for the July issue of the magazine, Chilli was quoted to have said that "When he (Tron) gets to kindergarten. I'm through (with TLC). That's just the way it's going to be." Of course that immediately rekindled the rumors that have been going round about the women of TLC saying their goodbye's, packing their bags and heading down seperate routes.
However, Chilli further explained her statement to Mademoiselle on MTV. "In order to clarify the quote in 'Mademoiselle,' I would first like to say that I love TLC and I will always be with TLC. What I stated to the 'Mademoiselle' reporter is that when my son Tron reaches kindergarten, I will no longer continue with the 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week schedule. This in no way means I'm leaving TLC."
Also in the same issue of Mademoiselle, Chilli said "I've always wanted kids. Each birthday since I was 22, I'd get depressed because I didn't have a baby. I'd just breakdown and cry. I was like, my life ain't right. When I got pregnant at 26 with my son, Tron, my mom was so relieved."
And Chilli is a great mom. She doesn't have Nanny. She makes Tron's breakfast herself every morning, gives him a shower, dresses him and does everything for him herself.
