THE VENUE AND CHURCH

St. Patrick's Church

Nestled in the rolling hills near the coast of the Dublin Sea in the

town of Kilquade in County Wicklow, Wendy and Christon plan

to be married in St. Patrick's church. A small, quaint church

seating about 150 patrons, this church was built in 1802.  The

church was also recently renovated in 2004. St. Patrick's church

also holds a personal history for Brian and Marie Flynn, Wendy's,

parents who exchanged their vows in this very church back in

1974.  The sermon will be given by the Flynn family's longtime

priest, Father O'Connell who undoubtedly will hold an elegant

Catholic mass enjoyable by all faiths.

Tinakilly Country House

Wendy and Christon fell in love with Tinakilly the first time they

laid eyes on it.  With its charming atmosphere and its beautiful

gardens, Tinakilly was an easy choice.   The reception promises

to be excellent with its elegantly decorated hall and fine restaurant

quality food and service.  It is highly recommended to stay in

one of Tinakilly's classic rooms the night of the wedding to

help keep the party going all night long through use of its

old world style residence bar.  The rooms are also fitting with the

hotel with antique furnishings and a view of either the Dublin

Sea or the well-manicured gardens of Tinakilly's lands. The

reception will include a drinks reception upon arrival with

canaps followed by a gourmet 5 course meal after the grand

entrance of the bride and groom.  After the dinner, one of Ireland's finest DJ's will kick off the dancing with a wide selection of music from today's pop hits, Country and Western, hip-hop, Euro Dance, and some traditional Irish music (no not Diddly-I!).  The party will go on until the wee hours of the morning for the residents so we definitely encourage you to take up a room in the House to maximize your entertainment!  Then the next morning we will be meeting up for a well-deserved full Irish breakfast and casual chatting.
