The main skyscraper capitals of the world are generally regarded to be: New York, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Each continent has a city which they might call their 'skyscraper capital', as well as the principle world ones. In Europe, Frankfurt is generally seen as the skyscraper capital, closely followed by London. In South America, Sao Paulo; in North America, New York and Chicago; in Oceania, Sydney and Melbourne; in Asia, Hong Kong and Shanghai; and lastly, in Africa, Johannesburg and Nairobi.
