My love affair with Greyhounds began in 1993 when first Cat (Omni Tri Cat), then Chico (Omni Chico) came home to share my couch. Both raced at The Woodlands in Kansas City, and no, they are not related except that they were owned by the same breeder. Thunder (Friendly Thunder) was my only racedog. He raced at Plainfield, CT for about a year. He wasn't very good, but he tried hard. We called him our "gas" dog as he made enough money to fill our gas tank once a week. The best part about not being good was that we brought him home at three years old to become a couch potato.
