• My Sisters Lounge, 11 Vernon St Spotswood, Thursday - Sunday (predomminiatly lesbian)
  This is our preferred hangout when in Melbourne. With comfy couches, great music, friendly dancefloor and easy going owners this place also doubles as a restuarant - with lots of great tucker. Don't be mistaken if you drive past and wonder where the hell it is. It is in a residentual area and you can't here a damn thing from the outside, go on in and have a look. If you have seen "If these walls could talk II" the middle story where the girls go to a dyke bar, Sisters seems to have that kind of a feel about it but with much better looking chicks.
• The Merton Rush - the main drag of Morwell
  Once a month the Rainbow Room is on - usually the first Saturday night of each month. Awesome night filled with lots of laughing, great music, some dancing and drinking (for those who drink).
• The Glasshouse, 51 Gipps St Collingwood (predominatly lesbian)
  The Glassy is one of those places. Possbily the best known of the lesbian hangouts in Melbourne, possibly well known as a bull dyke hangout (that is what I first herd of the place). It has now changed hands and well alcohol and women - in the one place, that says it all.
• Diva, 153 Commercial Rd South Yarra (glbt)
  Fun nights to be had at the DivaBar, they often have a drag queen there strutting herself, great music and a lot of laughs to be had.
  
• Girlbar, Prince of Wales St Kilda (monthly event predominatly lesbian)
  We have only been here once thus far so unfortunatly we can't say anything that positive about the place but I am sure when we go a second time I am sure we'll have more to tell you. A lot of the likka's we talk to believe it to be the best girl night out each month.
• Q&A, The Builders Arms 211 Gertrude St Fitzroy, Thurs 7pm-1am (Queer and Alternative)
  Havn't ventured along to this either mainly due to already busy Thursday nights but many have spoken highly of this joint.
