| A little bit about Chick... Chick is a singer/songwriter from the UK, now living in Zurich, and has been making music ever since she can remember. Originally a classical guitarist, Chick went on to learn electric and acoustic styles. As a wee chicklet she performed in a three-piece, a heavy metal and a rock 'n' roll band. | 2000 Chick moved to the US, built a music studio in the basement and, finally, could turn up the volume without annoying the neighbours. |
| 1999 Chick released her first album Free Range. The album contains fourteen original tracks, self penned, in an indie-folk style. The production is simple - mostly guitar and vocals with the odd bongo thrown in here and there. Free Range proved successful and The Guild of International Songwriters and Composers have described Chick as "an excellent talent" |

| 2003 SoundfarmUK collaborated with Chick in creating some alternative production of her album 'Free Range'. The resulting album was entitled 'Full Range'. Listen to the result at www.soundfarm.co.uk/Chick.htm. The end of 2003 saw another country shift, this time to Germany. There Chick worked on the arrangements for No Gimmicks and on a corporate project. |
| 2002 Chick moved to Paris, where she ploughed her energy into writing for the second album - No Gimmicks. |

| 2004 August, recording began, in London, for No Gimmicks and the album was completed in February 2005. |
| 2005 Chick created her own UK-based record label 'Naked Records' and released No Gimmicks in April 2005. |
