Harry Potter is Evil
"'That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness' -2nd Thessalonians 2:12"-- quoted from THIS Website.
First of all that Bible verse is talking about those who don't believe in Jesus the Savior of all. God forgives those who do "real" magic (afterall we ALL know that in real life you can't just go up to a cherrie tree filled with bowtruckles and pet the nice unicorn and make wand out of it). The other part of the verse "but had pleasure in unrighteousness" is talking about those who have heard of God and his good message, however have decided to ignore him. Or those who have accepted him, but do not ask for forgivness from God.
It's groups like these that show the world the wrong side of Christianity. I believe that this group has taken the Bible versus out of context and made it into something that it's not! I'm a Christian and I believe that there are MANY things that show that Harry Potter can actually HELP Christianity, or at least the mentality.
For example Jerimiah (a pastor at NNU presented us with some of this info)in the bible had to go through a lot of tough times in his life, and he cried out to God, why was God doing this to him? Jerimiah became angry and rash. Just like Harry, Harry has gone through so many things in his own life, he often questions himself, Dumbledore, and his friends... things get worse for Jerimiah AND Harry. Harry even reacts out of anger towards Dumbledore (which some think could be a symbolisim of Jesus or God (I myself am not quite sure about that) and his friends. Jermiah also does the same.
There is a difference between Incantational Magic, and Vocational Magic. One takes power from you and objects like a wand, with no significance whatsoever. You just say some latin words and there your room is clean. The other calls upon spirits or Demons to posses them and use their power for their own good. Harry Potter of course uses Incantational, the magic that is used from you and that's it. (info from--- "looking for God in Harry Potter"-- by John Granger
A lot of people like to point out all the "evil" in Harry Potter. Such as how Voldemort came back with his own body and such. I say DUH! Voldemort is evil, that is the exact point! You don't see Harry, or Dumbledore makeing horcruxes so THEY can have new bodies do you? And if a VILLIAN who is EVIl makes an enitre story and it's context evil, than I guess Chronicals of Narnia is evil as well as Lord of the Rings, because they both produce magic and evil people. However certain Christians do not believe this, they find the former two books to be very christine-like, espically since the authors are both professed Christians. Umm... I think were missing something J.K.Rowling is a professed Christian-Cathlic. Does that not speak for anything? Her actions show a christian like attitude as well, giving to the poor, not buying a hudge house (even though she's richer than the queen of England herself), and so on. She loves giving to charity and other such to.
Christians also try and get J.K. on how she looked up spells from magicbooks and other such. Well she needs SOME bases doesn't she? I mean what if she used "avada Kedavra" instead of "wingardium Leviosa"? The common people may not know what those words mean in latin (like I dont) however those who do know latin, would know that she had the spells mixed up, then the Christians who are against Harry Potter might have a leg to stand on. Because then there would not be difference between the evil and the good.
Here's another thing. Real witches and wizards use candles, rocks, stones, crystals, posession and several other tactics to get their magic done. They don't use wands. Also the witches and wizards in HP don't have a choice to be what they are. They are born that way, real witches have a choice.
A good way to think of it is like Star Wars. The force is everywhere you can use it whenever you can. It's how you use the force and what backs the way you use the force that makes you or the force that you use evil. The same with Harry Potter.
For example Dumbledore uses defense and protective magic while Voldemort uses magic to attack, kill, murder, torture, to escape death and/or get the power that he wants.
In harry Potter magic is not the most powerful force. Love is. This is made clear in book 1 and in every other book.
Dumbledore is Still Alive
Alright lets get this straight in HBP it CLEARLY states that Dumbledore's picture is now on the wall in the Headmaster's office. We learned about this in book number 1 people! ALL Headmaster's that have died are put up on the wall. J.K.Rowling has also said things in interviews that pretty much make it clear that Dumbledore isn't coming back. HERE is a link to one such interview...
Sirus is Still Alive
Another one... While Sirus may still be alive behind the veil, he still cannot come back. So it is like he is dead, because no one will ever see him again. Well most likely.
Snape is Evil/good/double spy
Evil Snape--- First of Snape did kill Dumbledore. Evidence of Snape killing Dumbledore willingly is how Draco while on the Astronomy tower with Dumbledore alone says (paraphrased),"You stupid old man! Don't you see? Snape is a double spy! He's been working for us all along." Dumbledore then replies,"My dear boy, I'm sorry however, we must I think agree to differe on that subject." This shows that Dumbledore had no idea that he was working with the Death Eaters. Either way whether Dumbledore told Snape to or not he still nonetheless was working for Voldemort.
Dumbeldore didn't realize all the trouble it would be to get the horcrux.
Dumbledore never let on about what Harry might have to do if Snape killed him.
Snape also makes the Unbreakable Vow with Narcissa, to keep Draco alive.
Right before Snape goes to kill Dumbledore the book says that he has the look of hatred in his eyes and etched on his face...
Snape repeaditly has meetings with Draco talking about the "plan" and what-not. Snape wanted Draco to get the job done quicker. Snape seems to get more and more anxious more and more, each time that Draco seems to not have suceeded in killing Dumbledore. Perhaps to keep his job at Hogwarts so that he could stay spy.
Snape is good--- Snape and Dumbledore could've had a plan all along that if things got into a sticky situation that Snape would have to kill Dumbledore. Perhaps that is why Snape was hateing Dumbeldore right before he killed him. Snape has just gotten back the wizarding communities trust from being a Death Eater and now here is having to kill Dumbledore...
If Dumbledore knew that Snape might have to kill him, he didn't tell Harry because he knew that Harry would seek revenge and wouldn't focus as much on getting all the horcrux's destroyed.
Snape could have been makeing the meetings with Draco about the "plan" trying to discourage him. Or makeing it more quick, for some unseen reason.
Snape Double-Spy--- Well Draco says that Snape is a double-spy
He definitly has ties with both sides.
In one part of the book Harry hears Professor Telawney reading off cards something with,"tower", "lightning", and "death". Or something... Later on Harry finds Trelawney a bit upset, and she says that she tried to get Dumbledore to listen to her about a future death or problem or something, but he wouldn't listen... Because he didn't believe that it would happen? Why didn't he take heed and listen?
Harry's Scar is a Horcrux
I personally do believe this one, I've believed it ever since I first read HBP. Some people don't think that it was possible. However it WAS possible. When Voldemort tried to kill Harry he couldn't because of Harry's mother's protective love right? Well when Voldemort tried to kill Harry we all know that the curse didn't work and so then Voldemort was still alive, but had no body, this was because of the horcruxes that Voldemort has. Harry's scar was created because of that curse, Harry feels connections to Voldemort a lot, dreams, emotions, thoughts, etc... Voldemort's soul has to be attached to something that can be non-living or living. A scar is dead tissue of the body, this means that it is not alive. It could be a different kind of horcrux altogheter. Also what about Harry's and Voldemort's brother wands? They both share the same exact wand, or at least the core of the wand. Harry also has Parseltongue, which Dumbledore said could have been passed onto Harry through his scar.
My End Deathly Hallows (book7)--- Alright so I think that at the final battle between Voldemort and Harry, Harry will have already gotten rid of most of the horcrux, Harry will realize that his scar is the last horcrux. So perhaps Neville will kill Harry (since he has ties with the prophecy) in order to destroy the horcrux, consequently killing Voldemort in the process.
IF....
